A BRIDGE TO THE LIGHT...
Having been in the dark when it came to the world of the Spirit, I know how weird this must sound to someone like I was some 33 years ago. To that Ralph Padron, who at 30 was going to be a "millionaire", it was ALL about the deal. Business was an end-all to everything. Not a means to an end, it WAS everything.
I measured my success by the size of my bank account. My standing among my peers. My business accomplishments. Anything BUT the things that truly matter in the end.
Needless to say, when you live like that, the things that truly matter; God, family, friendships, people in general, came a long way down the list.
How sad. So many gifts and all used for the wrong purpose. To glorify myself instead of the One that had given me those gifts.
Today, I use those gifts to offer a loving hand across the gap to others. To bring light to those that walk in the same darkness that I once walked in. To give freely, those things which were freely given to me.
Today, I find it MUCH more profitable to give than to receive.
